SEA's 2016 Professional Development Institute
On Thursday, April 28, 2016, over 150 teachers from across the District came together to learn from colleagues and outside experts through a series of professional development sessions. The event was organized by the Shakopee Education Association as a benefit for members trying to earn some of the specialized CEU requirements for license renewal or for those interested in learning more about financial planning, retirement planning, reducing their student loan debt, or insurance plan selection. The event included 8 different topics, each repeated twice:

Dinner was served at the midpoint of the evening, with Mr. Pig Stuff catering in some delicious BBQ fare.
